This suggestion is actually from one of our local members and it concerns the list of chapters (and chapter links) available on the web site itself. The request was to have the list divided by state (and also by DX country). A lot of the folks in the Cypress Chapter are fairly new at 10-X and are unfamiliar with what chapter is in what state. Having them sorted by state could help folks find what they are looking for a bit easier.
Floyd - Good idea but I would suggest in addition to listing by name to list by state. Some people may not know what state a chapter is in, however, they do know the chapter name. Don't want to have to start clicking on states to find one chapter. So, yes, have a listing by state but make it an additional listing. What you think?

using the two lists is agood idea.
i heard about one group near me so a chapter name lookup is good for that
but i want to look and see if any others are near me, so a state look up is needed too.

You are right a combination would be best for everyone, an alphabetical list for those who kow where they want to go and a state/country list for those looking for a particular area.
The Chapter Relations Committee unanimously feels that another listing of chapters is moot. They feel that if one goes to the "Chapter Net Guide" that it only takes a quick run-down thru it to find a chapter in a particular state or country. Needing more information about the chapter is then obtained from the '10-10 Chapters" section.
Yes that sounds like a plan. We need to have our website domain name changed since the link on the 10-10 website here is incorrect. Its www.mmchapter.org
Well any change to a chapter needs to go to K5FBS, we update the chapter stuff on the 1st and the 15th of the month. You need to alert Cliff direct and I will sneak in the change first chance.
