using UTC on forum posts

I guess that I'm too used to a 24 hour day...or maybe just an old "fuddy duddy".......But, I'd sure like to see the forum times posted as UTC instead of AM/PM. I also think that Ten Ten members outside of North America would also appreciate a UTC indication on a forum post.

Well I guess I'am another "FUDDY DUDDY, I would also like to see the UTC time on the Forum and the Chatroom also

Well I can't do anything about the chat room it is based on the server time and on the forum the system is set to UTC but the time is shown as AM and PM but not sure until I make this post.
Well I will have to do some research

Well since the server is set to UTC it has no earthly way of knowing where you live, DOES IT. When you post you email client flags the time of your post and not the server. But if you go to the User Control Panel and in board preferences you can tell it what time zone you want your post to reflect. It is 1:18 PM local lets see what my post says.

I am new to looking at a forum post. Until you mentioned it I did not notice the the two times. Why would I want to know the time on a forum?
