10-10 Sprint 2011 FUN

All this was in the 24 hour period known as the Ten-Ten International Day Sprint. Using either a Dipole or a Vertical antenna. 4 hours at the beginning after 00:01UTC and then the last 12 hours during the day Monday. With 2 hours PSK31 operation. The ONLY PSK31 contact with a 10-10 number was PA2NJC with his Club of PA6TEN. So, we went to SSB about 14:05UTC and YES I did ask if the Frequency was in use twice and nobody said anything. And the band opened up today for the last few hours better than it was for the couple hours before the QSO Party.

24 States contacted. MA, AZ, UT, OR, NC, FL, TN, CA, WY, GA, NV, HI, ID, WA, AK, VA, MT, NM, ND, CO, SC, TX, MI, ME.

28 DX - Canada providences contacted. Yukon, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Saskatuan. Other DX Locations contacted. Spain, France, Ireland, Hungary, Italy, Germany, England, Sweden, Poland, Estonia, Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Coasta Rica, Uruguay, Croatia, Portugal, Chile,Canary Islands, Brazil, Puerto Rica, Venezuala, Argentina, New Zealand, Asiatic Russia, Japan, and Dominic Republic.

Some of the Regulars are in the wrong list but I am running short on time. Bottom line, we had a BLAST and it was nice to contact every last one of them with 10-10 numbers and VP numbers in which we have not counted but are currently entering them into Daily Log and County Hunter. Sure we could have contacted more if we had tuned around the band, like KL8DX but we already contacted him last week and had 3 or 4 Alaska stations come contacts us Monday. So we are going to get the Logs ready to upload to ARRL LoTW and see how that goes later this week.
