PSK31 - What frequency?

Postby NW7US » Sun Mar 01, 2009 9:06 pm

What is the standard frequency used by 10-10 for PSK31? Is it the same as the standard PSK-31 frequency of 28.120 MHz?

I am a very active PSK-31 operator, and am looking forward to meeting 10-10 members on PSK-31 as the propagation conditions improve over the next few years.

Thanks...

Thomas we do PSK on 28.120 or 28.120.15 Well were using 115 for Olivia, But normally we were making the PSK contact and moving down to do that mode. Of course all digital modes including RTTY and Sound Card driven CW are allowed for the 10-10 digital award.

I haven't been on PSK31 since buying a new computer last December, so last night I installed the software, hooked up the cables, said a prayer, and it all works!
Now all I need is for someone to answer my CQs on .120!

Well Curt you were the first of 5 good contacts yesterday on PSK, today the band is loaded with noise. I have learned if I can't hear the beacon up the band I will not have much luck and today it is absorbed with noise all the way up. At least here in the bayou country that is true.

Nothing up this way either Mel, except the soft sound of frying eggs.

If you chase EPC numbers then you might look around 28.070-28.080 especially during EPC contests. More info: http://eu.srars.org/.
