Good Day from W7PSK

Hoya all you fellow 10-10ers ... Im not a grey beard but feel like it sometimes.

My name is Rick Scott and I go by Scotty on the radio (from my Navy Days). I was first Licenced as WD6DJB in 1977 in they Bay Area of California when I was stationed at Moffett Field California. I started pretty much on 10 meters because of the APT I lived in it was the best antenna. I had checked into the 10 10 net at the time but never sent the app in (Foolish me). 1979 found me in SPAIN in my next duty station and in 1980 we got our reciprocal rights and WD6DJB/EA7 was born.. I wandered on to the 10 10 net for Certificate chasing and this time I applied and received 33700 (I'm constantly asked how I got a DX Block number :D)

I then was stationed at Brunswick Maine and received KB1AQ and got into paper Chasing Heavily. In fact Steve WB1AOD and I started the Lobster Trap Chapter with me the CH and Steve the CM (He had a trash 80 to keep the paperwork straight).

In 1987 I was Medical'd out of the Navy and moved back to the State of Washington and Received KF7QZ then in 2002 I got my Extra and a vanity of N7HJ. I kind of dropped away from 10-10 in the 90/91 time frame. I got back into it 5 years ago and pretty much just chase numbers as I operate mostly PSK31. I applied for and got my current vanity in 2005 and love it. Im chasing the digital award but the Puget sound and my Low antenna have made for a lack of contacts. I don't do paper any more but will be glad to give you my 10 10 when I'm on.
