It has been brought to my attention that Jimmie, N9VXQ whose website says his 10-10 number was 73565 has become a Silent Key. He was the Net Control for the (Indiana) Boone County Amateur Radio Association 2-meter net and involved in a number of Amateur organizations and causes. I never met Jimmie personally even thought he was only a county or two away from me; as a Net Control for the Tippecanoe County (Indiana) 2-meter net, he and I had developed a working relationship to support each other's net and encourage our members to check in to the other net.
He struck me as a good guy and a good ham.......now working "Heaven's HamShack".
