Hi All,

My question is this: What is the procedure for operating W6OI in a special event?

Thank You!

Edgar Check the Forum topic W6OI and read the paragraph W6OI on the air.
Let me know if you have a special event in mind. Also on Nov 28,29 W6OI will
be operated by 10-10 members in all US call areas. Let me know if you are
interested in participating. 73 Jack K5CC - Trustee W6OI

Thank You Jack! I have read it. The Jefferson County Radio Amateur Club is planning on having a W.L.O.T.A. on Aug. 15th next year here at the Cape vincent Lighthouse. If I am on the air mobileby then I sure would be interested in operating in call area 2. I cannot operate base anymore as the landlord here at the housing complex that I live at will not allow me to have a base antenna.

Ed Let me know next year if you plan to operate during the W.L.O.T.A. event. If so I will authorize
you to use W6OI on ten meters. Look for W6OI starting this Wednesday at the Convention in Orlando.

Jack,

Yes I plan on operating at the W.L.O.T.A. on August 15th next year at the Cape Vincent Lighthouse. Also I need to know the operating hours for Nov. 28th & 29th. I am going to be operating from the JCRAC clubhouse in Watertown, NY. I'm in the process of getting it approved. I will be operating my 10 meter rig.

Ed The W6OI Special Event runs for 48 hours starting at 0001Z on 28 Nov.
Go to the 10-10 website and click on On Air Activity, Contests, Schedule
and scroll down to W6OI Special Event for more details. 73 Jack K5CC
