Off topic, but please help my learning. I learned of the 24 mHz FM list on the 10-Meter FM list. When I visited the list site,
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AR24MHz-FM/
I learned that it is a:
... forum for enthusiasts of the 12 Meter Amateur Radio FM on 24.975 MHz within the existing 12 Meter Amateur Band (24.890 to 24.990 MHz ), to discuss conversion of commercial two-way radio equipment to amateur use, antennas, propagation, and other related topics including monitoring of FM comms in the adjacent non-amateur bands (25.020 to 26.470, 27.430 to 27.530 & 29.700 to ~32 MHz ) for propagation determination.
I did not know and can not find that FM is allowed on any HF band other than 10.
Specifically, 24.975, according to Wikipedia <http://amateur-radio-wiki.net/index.php?title=SSTV_frequencies> is the frequency for Slow-Scan TV. This gives me pause since http://www.bandplans.com/index.php?band=12 does not list anything related to FM on the band.
Any help?
