If the Sprint had started just 2 hours earlier, PSK31 was wound out!

I contacted Japan, HI, and CA on PSK31 with only 40watts!

Then when that faded out I QSY to SSB about 45 minutes before Sprint Start and 10 Meters was Open up the east coast.

Unbelieveable band conditions ,I thought it was still sporadic-E Season or something. Then I was making a contact with a MA station about 5 minutes before the Sprint start, so I asked him to hang around and he could be our first contact.

NO I was just lining up my first Spirint 10-10 contact with a station from the northeast...That is all...

Anyway, both KD4BVG and I got a contact with him at 00:01UTC then the northeast was GONE!

The good news was that the band was blew open to AZ,CA,UT,and OR for the first hour of the Sprint.

Then the band started to fold, however we stuck in there until about 04:00UTC and did make some miraculaous contacts into TN,NC,and FL. So then it was time to throew in the towel and get some sleep to get up with the morning sun and get on with this Sprint 2011 ! May the band conditons be like last Monday for us ALL!
