I have found a very good radio repair shop
http://www.qsl.net/ki4nr/ for anyone who needs repair service. I took John my backup rig an Icom 746 Pro that the display had completely failed and was dark, he repaired, and made a modification that will keep it from failing again and returned to me in the time that it would have taken to send it back to the Icom Factory. Just picked up my main rig an Icom 756 Pro III this morning that the TX had dropped to 10 watts that he replaced the Diodes on the RF board. Only took him two weeks to get the parts and do the repairs. I believe if he can get the parts, he can repair anything to be as good as new. Check out his website. Thanks Paul WN4AMO
