Saturdays 28.380 net (11/15/08)

Ran the Saturday 10-10 on 28.380 at 1800 hours, there were no stations heard for check-ins.
I have spoken with Bob (N6OPR) and he has agreed to allow me to use his station to run my net on
Sat. Nov. 29, 2008 (As I will be on a family vacation to Disneyland). So, if there are any band
conditions hopefully I will be able to work a few stations on the net.

Wondering if U are the replacement NCS for our friend W2BOC?
Haven't heard whom, is replacing Bob.
Have a nice vacation.....Hope to hear U on the band soon...
One day the band will work again for all of us...lol!

Hi Robert,

Sorry about the long delay but to answer your question, yes I am the new Sat. 28.380 net control. N6OPR asked me if I would replace W2BOC after he became
a silent key. As you say one of these day the band will open and we will be able to get to action on the nets, till then, oh well.
