Scholarships Nitty Gritty

I know it's not an exciting subject, but it is one of most important 10-10 activities. We currently fund four $1500 scholarships. We used to fund six at $1000 but the Board felt that with the increasing high cost of college that $1500 would be more appropriate. I collect the checks that are sent in by the members and forward them to our treasurer. I try to contact past donors and I send out thank you letters and pins to those who donate at least $10. I would appreciate any questions or comments on the scholarship topic. By the way, we are doing very well for the 2008-2009 year, but we can always use any $ you can spare. Donating in the memory of silent keys is becoming increasingly popular.
