Windfarms 10-10 Net
Awards Program

1. These awards are available to Amateur Radio Operators who have a Ten
Ten number and requires a minimum of 100 points collected from Windfarms
members for the basic certificate.

2. All contacts must take place on the Ten meter band using only 2xCW or
2xSSB, no mixed mode contacts allowed and involve a genuine exchange of
call, name, location, Ten-Ten numbers, Windfarms numbers and point
value. A station may be recontacted and counted only for an increased
Windfarms point value per mode.

3. All stations claimed must be contacted from the same country.
Contacts must have been made on or after the dates on which both
stations had received their Ten-Ten numbers. A station must have a
Windfarms Basic Award to make contacts for any Windfarms upgrades or CW
award.

4. All stations claimed must be "Land Stations". Contact with ships or
airplanes cannot be claimed.

5. As part of the applicant's permanent record, applications must
include the following information: Your 10-10 number, Windfarms number,
name, callsign, address, city, state and zip code at the top of the list
and the 10-10 number, Date, Callsign, Name, State, Windfarms number,
point value and mode of each station worked. Computer printouts ok.

6. Send all applications for Windfarms Basic Award, Tower upgrade gold
sticker, Hub upgrade red sticker, Blades upgrade blue sticker, Power
upgrade gold sticker and Windfarms CW Award to:

7. Awards and upgrade summary.  Applications for any of these must
include the information asked for in Rule 5. Computer printouts ok.

*200 points collected equals five Windfarms Net check-ins

Additional endorsements for the Windfarms Basic Award or CW Award are in
multiples of 500 contacts and are worth 5 points. Mode used for
endorsements are CW only for CW Award and SSB or CW for Windfarms Basic
Award.

8. All applications * MUST * include sufficient funds to meet any return
postage requirements [for applicant's upgrades, work sheets, etc.] in
the form of US STAMPS, US CURRENCY, US CHECKS, INTERNATIONAL MONEY
ORDER, OR MONEY ORDER, PAYABLE TO: Lee Zalaznik .

9. The fee for the Basic and CW award is $2.00 US, and WHICH INCLUDES
ALL FUTURE ENDORSEMENTS, EXCEPT FOR POSTAGE AS NOTED. Fees are payable
as in Rule #8.

These rules are subject to change without notice.

The Windfarms Net is weekly and meets on Wednesdays at 1930 local time;
0230 Zulu in the summer and 0330 Zulu in the winter on 28.485 MHz plus
or minus. The Windfarms CW Net meets after the Windfarms Net. All
radio amateurs are invited to join us. Just break in with your call.
