8:00AM to 5:00 PM - Board of Directors Meeting

This meeting is open to the general public with details of the results of the meeting being published at a later date. Public attendance is welcomed by the B.O.D. and they encourage your contributions.

9:00 AM to 5:00 PM -  Registration Table open for early arrivals.

9:00 AM to ???? - Chapter Room open for set-up only.

Chapter Roundabout

Chapters will be checking in and setting up on Thursday while the BOD meeting is in session. Chapter table locations will be assigned. Please remember that the Chapter Roundabout room will not be accessible to the general membership on Thursday.

July24th-Friday

Off site trip to Universal CityWalk™, more on this trip by clicking this link. There are some that will be traveling with their spouses and friends who are not hams, this side trip was designed for them.

  • Time: 8AM, returning around 5PM

  • Transportation:

9:00AM to 5:00PM - Registration - There will be two registration tables set up, 1 table will be for callsign suffixes starting with A through M and the other for suffixes starting with N through Z.

9:00AM to 5:00pm - Chapter Roundabout - Imagine 30 tables in one room where you can get all your chapter certificates and awards updated! This is the "main event" to a great many of the attendees and one that you will not want to miss. Is your chapter coming to Convention 2009? Click here to see if your chapter is registered, if not then contact your Chapter Head to see what their plans are. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time at this event. Enjoy yourself and please be patient, remember the folks on the other side of the table are volunteers.

July 25th-Saturday

9:00AM to 5:00PM - Registration table open

9:00am to 2:30PM - Chapter Room open

2:30PM to 3:30PM - Presidents Hour

3:35PM to 5:00PM Parking Lot Net - 28.400mhz. This is the time to work a lot of 10-10 numbers at one time. One note to those working from the parking lot itself, you must actually be inside the vehicle you are transmitting from. Standing beside a vehicle and holding a mike is not considered mobile (even if you are wearing roller skates) and therefore would not be a valid mobile contact.

6:30PM to 7:00PM Banquet social time

7:00 PM - Banquet
Menu includes these entree's plus salad, dessert and beverage
Chicken Marsala, Roasted Bacon Sirloin, or Stuffed Gropher.

7:30AM to 9:00AM - Breakfast Buffet

10:00 AM - Convention official closing.

"Goodbye time" - probably most of the action will take place there in the lobby of the hotel.

Remember that the hotel checkout time is at 11:00am.

Departure to airport or other means of transportation.
